As an On-Call Branch Office Administrator (BOA) at Edward Jones, I have been honing my skills in the financial services industry for the past year while pursuing my Business Administration Diploma at Red River College Polytech. In my role, I assist the office's Financial Advisor (FA) and leading BOA with various administrative tasks and projects, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.I am proficient in the Microsoft suite of products and possess customer service skills which I aim to continually improve. My career goal is to become a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones. Upon completing my diploma, I plan to study for the necessary exams to achieve this goal, including the CSC, CPH, LLQP, and WME. I also aim to acquire field-related designations such as the QAFP, PFP, CIM, or CFP, depending on my eligibility.In my spare time, I enjoy reading finance and self-improvement books and listening to podcasts like the Dave Ramsey Show. My passion for personal finance extends to teaching others about it, and I find great satisfaction in helping friends understand their finances better. I am also passionate about integrating my Christian faith into my work. I’m currently writing a book for teens and young adults that explores financial stewardship from a biblical perspective, focusing on principles such as budgeting, saving, and giving, and investing to name a few.
