During my time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin, I served as a Secondary Education English Teacher and Teacher Trainer. Working at a small school in rural Northern Benin, I taught English, worked to build capacity with Beninese English teachers, and promoted youth development and education.

• Mavuno is a nonprofit NGO that operates in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo at a grassroots level to improve agricultural yields, promote community cohesion, and end poverty in the Eastern DRC
• Key contributor to the strategic plan for the allocation of a $2 million capital injection
• Aided in the development of Mavuno Impact Investing, working to fund small agro-businesses in DRC
• Developed an annual survey for monitoring and evaluation within partner communities
• Managed the fundraising data base, as well as many of Mavuno’s major donors
