In private practice with a group of clinicians providing comprehensive DBT services. Provide comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to client ages 8+ presenting with suicidal, self-injurious, and high-risk behaviors. Treatment includes: individual therapy, weekly skills group facilitation, team consultation, ancillary consultation, and 24 hour skill coaching /suicide protocol consultation. Extensive skills group facilitation-adolescent and young adult groups. Trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD.

 Implement Mental Health Services to children and families within Head Start and community partnerships.  Offer direct group and individual clinical, educational, and consultative services to agency, staff, and children and families.  Provide assessment, intervention, and referrals for enrolled children and families.  Conduct supervisor training on Effective Communication, Validation.  Member of agency-wide Promoting Nurturing Environments Committee.

 Co-developed and launched pilot program later funded by grant from Great Start Collaborative-Ingham County which addressed “gaps” in services to at-risk children ages 2.5 – 3, that did not qualify for Early Childhood Special Education or other community services but continued to exhibit significant social-emotional-behavioral deficits.

 Trained new treatment foster parents and staff in Foster P.R.I.D.E. Developed and provided ongoing training in the areas of Crisis Prevention and Intervention, Antecedent, Behavior, Consequence and related Communication and Child Development topics. Developed and monitored behavioral and treatment goals for caseload of children in Treatment Foster Care; ensured safety and supported reunification relationships.
