My area of expertise is in the commercial division that handles mostly 54” contract wallcovering. I achieve excellent customer service by providing goods, information and solutions to customers on a daily basis. I make sure the rest of the staff is trained and up to date on policies and procedures of Contract Dept. I receive orders via fax, email, phone, and in person. I oversee the ordering process, calculating quantities, quoting, and arranging shipping to customer satisfaction. I handle returns from complaints and overages. I communicate with heads of production at manufacturing companies, other distributors, UPS, Federal Express and numerous truck-lines to ensure the customers acquire the product they need in a timely and efficient manor.I interact daily with customers to help build an ongoing, positive relationship and enter orders, special instructions, and shipping methods in computer.I calculate totals, including estimating material, sales tax, and freight charges for orders. I work with manufacturers to purchase material for stock and place orders and/or custom orders to clients specification and satisfaction.I provide Fire Marshals with Fire/Smoke Ratings and Material Safety Data Sheets. I maintain client accounts by updating information in computer and act as support system to outside representatives.
