As an Estimator for CAS Companies, I was given the opportunity to bid on projects of all sizes. Not only did we go after the public bids that are available, but we also had a lot of contacts with numerous entities that ask for our assistance in Value Engineering, Design Builds and Remodeling. This was in Construction as well as Mechanical. We also had a very strong reputation in the Abatement and Remediation Services field. While bidding all of these types of projects, I would contact all subs for bidding opportunities, compile the proposals for bids, tabulate and turn in for bidding. Once we were granted a project or contract, I gathered and packaged all submittals for review by the architects and engineers. Upon receipt of returned submittal packages, I then made sure that all supervisors on sight had the proper paperwork at all times. I worked closely with the South Texas Manager and Administrative Assistant to be sure that billing was correct and on time. I also worked with supervisors for needed RFI's and Change orders when needed. Basically, CAS Companies is a strong company with a lot of qualified and experienced people. It is was a never-ending learning experience to be surrounded by such a large group of people and their knowledge of the construction industry.

I monitor and assist in the day to day operations of all residential projects. Includes PO's, accounts payable, estimating, purchasing, customer relations and direct contact daily with project supervisors. With commercial projects: Contact all subs for bidding opportunities, compile all proposals for bids, tabulate and turn in for bidding. On current projects: From the Notice to Proceed - submittals, PO's - billing, receivables and direct contact with Owners, Architects and Engineers.

Estimating and managing both residential and commercial projects. From NTP to finished projects. Dealt with everyone from owners, architects to subs and vendors. Accounts Rec/Payable, payroll, budget analysis and projections.

Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and daily expenses. I also tracked special orders and the cost to produce them.

Script Writing, production coordination, Media Buying, Budget planning, co-op filing and reimbursements. Market research, new customer contacts, billing, receivables, accounts payable and various other tasks.
