i currently work as raw materials manager at a leading global fashion brand, with more than 15 years of experience in the fashion and textile industry. I have a master's degree in fashion and textile from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a certificate in draping womenswear design from Central Saint Martins. My mission is to deliver high-quality and sustainable fabrics for Esprit's diverse and global markets, while staying ahead of the industry trends and innovations.In my current role, I lead the fabric research and development process according to the design briefs for three regions: EU, NA, and APAC. I work closely with the brand merchants and designers for seasonal development on full categories, including mainline, activewear, kids, and hero line. I also support the raw material sustainability initiatives and participate in projects related to transformation and newness. Some of the key competencies that I demonstrate in my work are creative direction, commercial products, trend analysis, suppliers management, market intelligence, innovation, and sustainability. I have also established and reviewed supplier score cards and developed strategic partnerships with mills and vendors.
