Working with the board of directors, community leaders and businesses and a staff of 36 employees, I oversee all the operations and development for Good Samaritan. I work with a core team to create strategies for program development and fiscal health and to find new, innovative ways to alleviate hunger for area poor and provide safety and services to abused women and children. Achievements:• Oversight of construction of a 9600 sq. ft. domestic violence shelter• Acquisition of 65% of shelter funding from state and federal grants (annual budget for the shelter: $304,000)• Growth of the organization from 2 to 6 facilities, including a 5000 sq. ft. food pantry• Rebranded the organization and raised community awareness and support• Increased efficiency, improved financial accountability and created innovative programs to help the poor and the abused in Pulaski County• Developed innovative, comprehensive programs to provide long term solutions for clients suffering from abuse, drug and alcohol dependency and/or poverty• Created a central location for financial aid administration and distribution of Good Samaritan, Salvation Army and Pulaski County Ministerial Alliance assistance to the poor within the Good Samaritan Emergency Resources department• Created community awareness events, including Women of Significance brunch; 300 men and women attended in 2013 and raised over $11,500• Received Neighborhood Assistance Program 70% tax credits to garner contributions to renovate a newly acquired building to be used for a job-training program for survivors of domestic violence or at risk for abuse due to poverty, drug dependency or other factors• Participated in the organization and planning of recovery efforts for victims of the 2013 Pulaski County flood, working with local and national agencies including Convoy of Hope, Red Cross, City of Waynesville and Catholic Charities.

I wrote grants to fund façade renovation, downtown special events and my salary. I worked with downtown businesses to develop and execute strategies for growth in the downtown. I worked with area media, including a weekly radio interview to draw interest to the downtown. Each year, I attended Main Street Conference hosted by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Achievements• Worked with chamber of commerce and area businesses to create "Light Up the Town," a highly successful town lighting event • Developed the Warsaw Art Show and Competition• Successfully funded (through Missouri's Neighborhood Assistance Program tax credits) and oversaw facade renovations on multiple downtown historic buildings

Initially hired as bookkeeper, I was promoted to business administrator and oversaw the physical operations of the church, including the finance office, clerical staff, kitchen, building maintenance and janitorial staff. I was a part of the ministerial team, working with 4 pastors. • Brought the financial systems in house, with a secure, double entry financial system.

Responsible for purchasing and distribution of food, domestic and janitorial supplies for all mission facilities. Oversaw janitorial department, kitchens and warehouse personnel. Created menus and ensured nutritious, quality meals for the men, women and children served by City Union Mission programs, including family services, homeless services and camp programs.
