My educational experiences span over 25 years and have allowed me to strengthen my knowledge of staff development and strength-based approach to education to facilitate collaborative learning environments with the aim to improve learning outcomes. I make it a priority to extend my understanding of educational practices within the classroom and leadership capacities. Most recently I have completed a Masters of Education through Morling College which enabled me to authentically function as an educator from a Christian Worldview and am currently extending my understanding of mentorship with a Masters unit at Sheridan College. The impact of my teaching practices formed the basis of my HALT Lead project with a presentation of an alternative approach to engae students in the autism spectrum. I always support the needs of the wider school community and work to impact the community to effect positive change in school culture. I value the best care of my students and opportunities to impact the next generation of teachers. I value the opportunity to effect change to enhance student educational experiences and influence teachers to develop their capacity to function authentically, particularly from a Christian Worldview.
