I’m currently working as an architectural assistant at Saunders Boston Architects whilst studying for my Part 2 at Loughborough University with the intention to complete my Part 2 and 3 and become a qualified architect.I completed my Part 1 BArch (Hons) graduate from University of Lincoln with an Upper Second-class degree in Architecture. During my time at University of Lincoln I completed the RIBA mentoring scheme, where I gained insight into how architectural practise are run and what it means to work with architecture and design teams. Before beginning Part 2, I completed placement year as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant with the Property team at Amey Consulting where I with a team of architects and engineers to deliver projects and gain experience to take into future studies and work. I was given the opportunity to develop my skills in a range of software whilst working on different projects. I also took part in site visits to working highways depots and railways stations as well as a visit to go up the towers of the Severn Bridge.
