Duties include nurse phone triage, administering vaccines and other medications, verification of insurances, scheduling appts and allergy testing.

Provide medication administration including vaccinations. Assist with physicals, return to work, workers compensation, employee exposures, and fit for duty cases. Provides continuing education on plan of care and infection control as well as processes urine drug screens and hair collections as required by employers.

Supervise and coordinate venues for facility champion and associated training. Communicate with department directors, managers, educators and clinical associates to ensure proper scheduling. Assist with data and information collection and performance compliance monitoring of all units.

Perform physical assessments of intrapartum, postpartum and newborn patients. Provide medication administration, continuing education on plan of care, infection control and possible complications. Discharge planning and use of preventative services.
