Working with technology has always been a passion. I have over 20 years direct customer service and over 15 years experience providing tech support, with the last 5 years in a dedicated Application Support role. I’m a proactive problem solver with great communication skills. I work well with a team as well as independently and I’ve always loved technology and how its ever evolving which feeds into my love of learning new things. I'm analytical yet have great soft skills and tend to pick up on new concepts quickly. I also have a knack for finding the silver lining in situations, staying optimistic and making sure to laugh every day at work. I enjoy what I do for work and being able to smile and help users is the icing on the cake. Speaking of cake, I like to bake as well.I grew up in the Willamette Valley in a small Oregon rural town of ~800 people. I was first introduced to computers by my father and know firsthand how slow dial up internet in the country can be which has aided in my patience in life. I attribute my father for my loyal work ethic, curiosity and constant desire to learn. In my past roles, I’ve enjoyed bridging the gap between IT and people helping them understand how things work and improving processes by automation and proper training. I love finding solutions, the ever evolving world of tech and the fact that every day at work is a riddle that needs to be solved.

Cardlock Department ManagerThe Jerry Brown Co., Inc Apr 2003 - Dec 2016During my time at JBCO I was the go-to SME for multiple areas of business. My primary responsibility of Cardlock Department Manager included general operation of our unattended fueling department, including maintenance of 10 sites and providing customer service to 2k+ accounts. JBCO was the 2nd largest Petroleum company in Oregon and over the course of 14 years I spent building relationships with our customers to ensure their fleets ran efficiently. In addition to creating ISO encoded cards, setting fuel prices, accounting and warehouse maintenance I had to stay up to date on all Oregon laws, changing technology, competition and industry knowledge. Addiontal responsibilities as Manager include inventory reconciliation, web support, DEQ compliance and overseeing the maintenance and facilities division for our customer equipment needs. My secondary role was providing all end users with Tier I and Tier II Helpdesk support. Collaborating with our IT manager, I worked through custom software code changes, reporting requests, setting up company email, supporting Microsoft products, applying patches, automation and workstation setup. I also coordinated projects and events, assisted with Tax Audits, managed the AP department and made sure to spread some laughter, random facts and smiles every day.In late 2016, the owners retired and JBCO became part of the Carson brand where I transitioned to a full time IT position.
