Visitor host at Kew Palace, responsible for daily open/close up at multiple sites, including a children’s exhibition centre, an historic kitchen, Queen Charlotte’s Cottage, Kew Palace and the Great Pagoda. As one of the core ‘pagoda team’ I was given extra training and worked the initial opening week including day-time and evening events as well as the subsequent open day; responsibilities involved engaging with members of the public and sharing my knowledge on the history of George III and Kew Gardens. In addition, I communicated with other members of my team on radios throughout the working day.

During my studies I worked flexible, part-time hours in holiday periods before returning summer 2017 full-time as an Assistant Manager for their largest branch in Crystal Palace where my responsibilities continued and expanded to include operations management work also.
