I began fabricating custom window treatments in 1991. I worked 90% to the trade only but did take on retail clients as well. I was the Executive Director and instructor at The Custom Home Furnishings Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina where I helped develop classes for individuals wanting to enter the custom window treatment industry. My duties also included Editor of a monthly trade publication and Advertising Manager. I have been a Hunter Douglas certified Consultant for more than13 years.
