I have 30+ years of experience in the Imaging career field that include a combination of several years as a technologist in various modalities (CT, IR, DX Rad, and MRI) and several years in administrative/leadership roles (lead tech, modality supervisor, imaging department operations and business manager, imaging department deputy director). I also have experience as adjunct facility for a Radiology Technologist program (associate degree). I still hold a registry in both Diagnostic Radiology and CT. I also hold certification in Medical Coding. My current role is that of a process/performance improvement specialist in the VA Healthcare System, with certification as a VHA Lean Black Belt. I have VHA contracting process experience, as a VHA certified contracting officer representative. My current duties include facilitating project teams, coaching other team facilitators, and mentoring Lean course students. I also am an instructor for VHA Lean Yellow/Green/Black Belt courses, as well as adjunct facility (also am Prosci-trained in Change Management) for VHA Change Management courses.
