I am passionate about my profession - occupational therapy, particularly within the realm of pediatrics. I have 25+ years of experience working as a pediatric OT. My expertise in working with children involves addressing delays outlined within the Ayres Sensory Integration as well as sensory motor functioning to promote learning and functional outcomes. I will complete / have completed my PP-OTD from Boston University as of August 2022.In addition to working within the schools, I have contributed to the OT program at UW La Crosse as an adjunct professor. I look forward to collaborating with the university in future teaching endeavors. I have professional goals to publish my findings relating to vestibular functioning as it relates to motor outcomes and learning. I would like to extend my findings on vestibular therapies to adult populations, as I feel there is great potential for this application.
