During this process, we had several high school students that we worked with, and we hosted a quarterly breakfast/tours/ and meetings with the different departments within a hotel. I am fortunate to count Howard Feiertag as a friend and mentor. For many years, I worked with the Virginia Tech Hospitality Management Program and hosted many of his interns, including hiring several over the years and assisted with job placement as well.
