CurrentConnie Clem is an information specialist who is committed to promoting positive change in corrections. She specializes in leveraging experts’ knowledge and experience in documents and in digital media. She has conducted survey research on corrections policy and operations, interviewed leaders, tracked correctional topics in the news media, provided research support for legal teams, managed social media campaigns, consulted on websites, written policies and procedures, and documented the discussions shared at meetings and conferences. She provides expert skills in writing and editorial projects and has experience in curriculum development, webinar production, and online community engagement. She has presented to professional groups about social media strategies. Ms. Clem appreciates the persistence and creativity shown by corrections professionals as they address and solve new and long-standing challenges. A continual learner, she is energized by this progress and eager to share the message. Ms. Clem believes that everyone is a stakeholder in U.S. justice systems and that agency operations do—or should—represent our communities and their values.
