Taking her commitment to inspiring children through quality literature one step further, Connie now is dedicated to helping children become authors through the Share My Story program. As the Director of Instructional Design, she develops engaging step-by-step lessons to take students, and their teachers, through the writing process. A former teacher and Edmentum education consultant, Connie now spends much of her time playing The Antiquarian on The Very Airy Library, the high-flying children's show that celebrates literacy. Connie developed the “Share Your Story” writing curriculum, which partners with published authors to guide students through the process of writing their own books. Connie is the author of nine children's books including Amazing YOU, Say, Say, Oh Playmate, the award-winning "One Million and One" nonfiction series, Tilly and Torg’s Easy-As-Pie chapter book series, and Tilly and Torg – Out of this World, her new graphic novel.
