Connie began her career in insurance in 1994 as a captive agent with Allstate Insurance offering Personal lines, Commercial, Life and Financial products in Pineville, NC. By asking poignant questions and listening to the needs of each client, she was able to match their needs with the available products. Soon Connie's agency was growing and thriving! Because she developed a very successful process and procedures plan early on, she became the "instructor" of new local Allstate Agents prior to opening their agencies. Having a workflow established in the beginnning, lead to a quicker and greater success model for agency proficiency. 2001, she sold her agency to move to Wilmington, NC to be closer to her famly. There she became a Broker in Real Estate and affectionally became known as the resident Realtor Insurance guru. Within a year and a half, though, the "call of the insurance world" lured her to seek an agent interested in growing their business. She found a Nationwide agent whose agency had been flat for years. She was hired to become his Ops Manager. Within 4 1/2 years, with a new branding and marketing plan in place, his one location expanded to include 3 more scratch agencies. The results were outstanding! His business tripled in the PIF and DWP. Connie was in charge of recruiting and training of agency processes and procedures, sales philosophy, introduction of new products and company software. The team grew from 3 agents to 15, most of whom are still in place today.With the results of her successful venue as owner & principle agent to operations manager, Connie is honored and excited to join another growing agency, JM Hamilton & Assoc. in Charlotte. Currently, Connie is working on her CRM designation.
