Served as the Owner's Representative on a fleet maintenance software project. Worked closely with consultants, project team, stakeholders and executives to track, monitor and communicate progress. Identified and resolved, or escalated issues. Reviewed strategies and progress weekly with DBAs to address data migration from SQL and Oracle legacy databases to FleetFocus. Evaluated most effective solutions and prepared cost estimates for incorporation of ($100 k) in scope items. Result: Successfully developed station profile rollout plan and deployed to first shop within 15 months.Implemented and managed an extensive Project SharePoint website. Tailored site based on customer's requirements. Established metadata, keyword search filters and versioning. Set up document libraries, objects, lists, calendars and added content. Managed permissions and access. Result: The team SharePoint site proved to be a critical tool in the successful implementation of the project. Developed detailed User Acceptance Test scripts for approximately twenty (20) distinct user profiles to confirm functional access and data quality, validate business processes, usability, configuration and establish a baseline for future regression testing. Result: New system eliminated $100,000 in annual charges associated with unauthorized and duplicated contract cleaning services.Designed an Internal Baggage Tracing system to replace a legacy mainframe system and save an estimated $350,000 in bag tracing costs annually. Defined approach, phases, parallel processes, affected systems, interfaces, scope and solution. Created detailed requirements documents and estimated transaction counts. Identified reports needed to support DOT compliance during transition phase, and coordinated Internal Audit review and signoff. Result: Internal database was successfully created and key reports were replicated in Phase I of the implementation; development is ongoing.Co-designed and co-developed a Help Desk Application for reporting, tracking and addressing issues associated with hundreds of barcode scanners deployed to Continental stations. Defined architecture, login security, database objects and scope. Defined data elements, developed tables, screens and management reports. Created symptom-based troubleshooting templates based upon application and hardware. Result: Because of its simplicity and flexibility, the application remains in use after six years and continues to function as an effective tool for managing scanner-related hardware and software issues.

Managed the administrative function for a 150-person Houston-based Flight Operations Dispatch office for Continental Airlines. Managed a support staff of two Administrative Assistants. Paymaster for over 120 Transport Union Dispatchers and Operations Managers. Established a union employee database containing anniversary dates and current salaries. Analyzed current union contract pay schedules and submitted pay increases well in advance of effective dates; submitted semi-monthly time sheets. Worked with Department Managers and the Payroll to expedite handling of discrepancies. Result: Pay complaints were virtually eliminated, greatly improving morale and relations between union employees and management.
