I have a combination of strong customer service skills and demonstrably effective team and project management experience. I approach each interaction in business as a service opportunity; other departments and teams are as important as any other customers. I help both external and internal customers define their needs, then meet them as efficiently and completely as possible through precise communication and targeted solutions. I enjoy a business atmosphere that encourages flexibility within a framework of policy and procedures, for there is rarely a one-size-fits-all answer to even a repetitive problem.Specialties: Small team management, quality assurance, customer satisfaction.
Listed skills include Quality Assurance, Team Management, Game Development, Video Games, and 24 others.

Full time carer for babies born January, 2009 and August, 2011. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling, transportation, fund raising, personal care, catering (including severe allergy management), education, supply management, cleaning, medical care, goods acquisition, public relations, law enforcement, performance art, research, communications and entertainment. This position has required me to be on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week since its inception. The bosses are demanding and generally unappreciative of my efforts. Not only is there no salary, I have to pay for everything for them out of my own pocket. And it's the best job I've ever had.

Performing Level One support across multiple sites for a large national health and aged care organisation.

As part of converting the existing Service Centre and support structure to one location, I was promoted from Level One Support to the Level One Team Leader at Downer Services. This necessitated hiring a completely new Level One team up to 12 full time staff. I also managed a team of up to 6 at a remote location during the conversion. The Service Centre supported thousands of users (employees of Downer EDi) internationally. This support ranged from computer hardware and software to remote devices to telecommunications to specialty equipment. The Service Centre provided 24/7 support.I was responsible for interviewing, giving input on hiring decisions, training, day-to-day operations, quality control and performance review. Starting in April 2011, plans were put into motion to outsource the Service Centre, requiring replacement of staff with contractors as full-time staff sought opportunities elsewhere. As of December 1, 2011, this call centre was outsourced to Hewlett-Packard and I was made redundant.
As a Mindworx contractor I provided Level 1 Technical Support for a mid-sized call centre at Downer Services.
Brought in to manage the existing Quality Assurance team for the 3D home rendering software, MyVirtualHome. (This product was developed in conjunction with Auran and the original release in October 2005 was actually my first credited software release.) I was very pleased to be returning to so many familiar faces on a team gearing up for its 2.0 release, on a product so far ahead of its competitors.
Coordinated various aspects of development on MMOFPS game Fury post-release. This included suggestions for game and interface improvements as well as scheduling and testing same. Processed incoming player bug reports and helped prioritize game issues for the engineering team's attention. Assisted with administrative duties.
Expanded my Lead QA role to include planning for future Auran projects. Launched Fury in October 2007.
Built Quality Assurance team from only self to a total of 13 members, with sole discretion over hiring, training and other personnel decisions including scheduling. Structured the team to maximize flexibility, individual tester experience and available tester hours while attempting to prevent work overload during crunch periods.Coordinated final pre-launch testing of Fury with External Testing group and beta testers. Liaised with other development leads to ensure testing was timely and thorough.
Provided credited QA for home-design software My Virtual Home developed by Auran. Worked on other Auran projects including Trainz, Hwarang and Guardians Online before the latter two were integrated and redeveloped into Fury. Worked on small teams of no more than 3 people under a QA Manager. Helped select and train 3 other testers prior to my promotion to Lead.
