Connie Hogan retired from General Motors effective October 1, 2009. During her outstanding career with the company, her most notable role was that of Director, General Motors Foundation.In this capacity, Connie restructured the GM Foundation to link GM’s global philanthropic activity to core business strategies. In addition, she served as manager of the day-to-day operations of the GM Foundation and also held the position of Director on the GM Foundation Board of Directors. Previously, GM Cancer Research Foundation, awarding $35+ million to 100 laureates, 13 of whom won Nobel Prize for medicine.Previously Director of GM Foundation, responsible for $80+ million to philanthropic organizations worldwide.
