I embrace my role as an Oasis Senior Advisor because it offers the perfect way to give back by lending my services to families in need of finding a senior living community for a loved one. This can be an emotional, overwhelming task. Nothing pleases me more than to use my extensive knowledge and expertise to help seniors and their families locate the assisted living, independent living or memory care community that is the best fit for their loved one. As part of a family that has been touched by brain related illness, I have personally experienced the impact.When I reflect on my passion for senior care, I’m brought back to my great grandmother with whom I was blessed to have an intimate relationship. At age 100, my great grandmother was still nurturing my imagination with vivid life stories. When I see my elders or try to solve problems to make their lives richer or just more comfortable, I can’t help but remember my amazing older relatives.My services do not cost you anything - they are absolutely FREE. Whether circumstances call for assisted living only or the additional needs of memory care for those experiencing Dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, matching a person to a place in proximity to family and friends is usually a wise choice. However, many factors come into play and guiding the selection process has become my specialty. There are many elderly care options. It comes down to knowing what nuances each community has to offer and having the understanding to make the best possible match for the person in need.
