Decided to enhance my knowledge and earned a formal qualification from the NWU Business School in Marketing Management. Making it possible for me to have the full picture and understanding of the buying cycle and the guest’s journey before arrival.Some exciting projects I've been a part of:• Pre-opening (dream) team for a luxury 5 star resort in the Seychelles. Setting up the team, office and understanding the local culture. Achieving 100% departmental employee satisfaction score and exceeding revenue budget by 20%• SWOT and root failure cause analysis for a intimate 35 key hotel. Created a restructuring plan and turnaround strategy. Resulting in 60% increase in turnover and maintained an average COS of 35-40%• Strategically positioned property to grow from a loss to a profit of over N$4.1M within 2 years.Noteworthy Collaborations:* 2012: Routes Africa Seychelles. Working closely with teams from Routes, the Seychelles Tourism Board and my team to ensure flawless event execution.* 2013: Hosted the first Wedding Expo for the Seychelles islands. Promoting the destination and the talented suppliers within the community.*2015 to 2016: Working closely with Swakopmund Municipality, DECOSA and the Hospitality Association of Namibia Coastal Team on a Tourism Growth & Development Strategy for the destination.I've lived in more than 6 cities and visited close to 20 countries, and counting.
