For the last two years I have created and managed a successful online business, researching, buying and selling collectibles (such as LEGO minifigures,trading cards, figurines,etc) on Ebay, under the name Collectors-Utopia. I have made over 400 sales (and counting),whilst achieving 100% positive feedback, alongside other paid employment. I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and wish to further develop my knowledge and skill-set within this area.

My primary role was to tutor English to non-native speakers, including formal lessons covering specifics such as: grammar, tenses, idioms, phrasal verbs, speaking and listening,etc. More advanced lessons covered English exam preparation for TOEFL and IELTS for example.

I supported children with learning/behavioural difficulties and mental health issues on either a one-to-one basis, or in larger group settings.. I was also tasked with working directly with the school headteacher to help establish an EAL programme that was to be used throughout the school. Moreover, I have worked with the school’s SENCO to produce pupil provision trackers for the school, as well as updating pupil profiles and liaising with schoolteachers to recommend the use of interventions. I incorporated a variety of interventions into my work, focusing on anger management, anxiety reduction, auditory and visual memory, social skills, and precision teaching interventions (eg: phonics)
