From the age of 12, I have been fascinated with the concept of programming. In high school, I earned an endorsement from the Computer and Software Engineering 21st Century Program. My senior project included development of a user interface, the business logic, and database design, and gave me a good understanding of team-oriented development. In 2020 I earned my degree in Computer Engineering and continued doing freelance work, which I had begun as a student. I also have a passion for Mathematics which led me to create a blog focused on mathematics and reasoning. Continued self-study has enhanced my natural ability and intuition for solving complex problems.Fellow students have frequently requested my help ranging from programming to complex math. One of my favorite classes in college was embedded development where my strong sense of determination allowed me to intuitively complete each lab with limited direction. I also helped other students, eventually returning to the lab as an assistant.PROGRAMMING/DATA LANGUAGES & FRAMEWORKS: HTML, CSS, Python, C/C++, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, Haskell, Java, GPGPU & GPU Architecture, Multithread Programming, FreeRTOSSOFTWARE: LibreOffice Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Vim, SHH, WordPress, GitOPERATING SYSTEMS: Windows 7/8/10, Linux (Arch, Ubuntu)OTHER: Relational Databases, Mathematical Reasoning, Technical WritingLinux is my primary operating system and environment for programming. Therefore, I greatly value the benefits of open-source software, especially that with widely-available documentation. In addition, I regularly use a distribution which forces me to learn the skills I need to fix problems when they occur. I am also exceptionally skilled at using the command line and creating shell scripts to automate recurring tasks.Python is my language of choice for personal projects and testing implementations which are agnostic of low-level behavior. I am skilled at using its concurrency features to create event-driven applications, as well as libraries such as Requests, NumPy, and Matplotlib. If I'm in a more mathematical, hair-pulling mood, I also use Haskell, if for nothing but the exercise in thinking. I am also more than capable of development in C/C++, after identifying demanding computational tasks which warrant its use.It’s my goal to secure a position where I can demonstrate my skills well beyond web development to more complex fields such as embedded development and scientific computing.
