In this role, I supported pupils one-to-one, in small groups, and in larger class settings within various school departments. The children I supported have a variety of learning difficulties, mental health, and/or behavioural issues. Within this role I aimed to build positive and trusting relationships with the children I supported in order to promote wellbeing, learning, and independence.

My main responsibilities involved leading groups of up to thirty tourists - including school groups - around Edinburgh, Madrid, Paris, and Barcelona whilst presenting in-depth information about history, politics, and culture in a fun and interesting way. In this role, I learned valuable organisational and communication skills in order to keep clients together and engaged with the information provided.

As a carer, my main responsibilities included providing care and a comforting environment for older people and people with dementia, limited capacity, and other conditions. This involved providing personal care, helping with basic aspects of daily living such as eating, personal hygiene, and dressing as well as dealing with family members and members of the public.
