I served as a production assistant on live stage shoots in a real-time, virtual production pipeline. My responsibilities included coordinating with virtual production teams for 3D animated episodic projects, capturing performances using Xsens Livelink to UE4 and conducting animation retargeting and cleanup in Motion Builder. I was responsible for stage preparation and operation of various equipment such as timecode, KiPro and audio field recorders, video reference cameras, and Xsens Animate recording sessions. Additionally, I set up scene layouts within UE4 sequencer for virtual production, conducted quality control checks on Vcam footage, and facilitated Zoom setups to connect directors and producers with the live volume. I updated software and hardware to ensure high-quality data capture during shoots and organized and delivered shoot MVN files for processing into FBX for the production pipeline. Furthermore, I collaborated with Production Assistants and helped facilitate marker application, Manus Gloves, and Faceware helmets for performers.
