As a REACH ambassador, I acted as a mentor for approximately 60 first-year engineering students. I regularly advised them with information to succeed in their classes and to live a more complete, enjoyable college experience. Through my role, I helped lead orientation events for freshman during college Welcome Week and planned a service event for students that created then donated around 20 blankets to a local non-profit organization for youth. This position allowed me to grow in terms of communication, leadership, team-working, event planning, working in a diverse climate, and maintaining a professional yet friendly attitude.
