First and foremost a student with a large array of experiences and education. From my linguistic skills in Spanish, to my technical skills in gardening, plant and animal identification, and copywriting. My liberal arts education at UNCA has allowed for a blended experiences of empirical information and the social sciences. Through this education, I have trained on the ability to synthesize information, understand different view points, and communicate my thoughts. I will be putting all of my skills to the test soon, as I look forward to completing a research project detailing the importance of native landscape for bird populations in urban environments. Additionally, I will be studying abroad to Costa Rica to hone in on my Spanish linguistics. Finally, after graduation, I intend on enlisting to the Peace Corps. Preferably in a Spanish speaking nation, dealing with sustainable agriculture.
