Responsible for developing a habitat suitability model to predict white shark distributions and enhance public safety in a New England coastal community. Utilize R and GIS tools to manipulate, visualize, and model complex data sets. Establish a dissemination platform to deliver high-profile findings in a digestible manner using R/Shiny, version control, Linux environments, and front-end languages. Foster productive relationships with scientific personnel and stakeholders via collaborations and outreach.

Aided with developing and assisting with several coastal and offshore marine projects off the northeast US. Engaged with federal and state agencies, academia, non-governmental organizations, and marine industries (i.e., fishing, offshore wind energy) to investigate the impact of human activities on the sustainability of several species. Communicated advanced concepts and results to technical and non-technical audiences through peer-reviewed publications, reports, and oral presentations. Research: Addressed data gaps crucial to aiding stock assessments and fishery management plans for Gulf of Maine Atlantic cod. Instructed oceanography laboratory sections for undergraduate students and assessed their progress throughout the semester.
