I am Connor Curran, the founder and co-owner behind Local Laundry, a Canadian-made clothing company with a mission to make a positive impact on both people and the planet. My journey as an entrepreneur began in 2015, when I had a fateful run-in with my washing machine. It was then that I decided to make laundry local for everyone and started Local Laundry. Since then, I have grown Local Laundry into a brand known for its commitment to social good.I am proud to say that Local Laundry has collaborated with notable organizations like the Calgary Flames, the CBC, Shaw Communications, and Petro-Canada. Furthermore, we have made a commitment to donate over $1 Million to local charities across Canada by 2030. This is something that is very close to my heart and I am dedicated to making it happen. As a top 40 under 40 class of 2022 and recipient of various awards, my passion for entrepreneurship, small business, and responsible manufacturing has led me to become a public speaker. I have shared my insights and experiences with audiences ranging from high school students to large keynote events. My dedication to using business as a force for good has inspired countless others to follow in my footsteps and strive for positive change in their own lives and communities.Apart from running Local Laundry, I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. This allows me to be more involved with the community and to give back in a meaningful way.I am a driven entrepreneur with a passion for making a positive impact on both people and the planet. I have a proven track record of success with Local Laundry and I am committed to making a difference in the world through my business.
