My role on the elected executive board is to promote the culture of Pi Rho Omega. I use a mix of planning events, interviews, and strategic marketing to bring our members closer together and garner a sense of pride in Pi Rho Omega.

I sit on the board of Directors for Pi Rho Omega Professional Business Fraternity Incorporated. In October of 2021, Pi Rho Omega Professional Business Fraternity was officially incorporated as a registered 501(c)7 non for profit corporation in the state of Illinois. My work on the board of directors focuses on strategy, liability suppression, guidance, and corporate sponsorship relations. Pi Rho Omega was founded in order to fulfill multiple needs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. First and foremost, there was a genuine need for another professional business fraternity at our school. Given the natural selectivity of the existing business fraternities, only just over one hundred students a semester get the opportunity to become members. Adding one more gives another group of students the chance to also reap the benefits of being in a professional business fraternity. This was the first and main motivation to create Pi Rho Omega. It was after deciding to fulfill this need that we realized we had a unique opportunity to create a new, revamped, modern professional business fraternity. We believe that no person could rightfully call themselves a professional or “professional” until after at least five years of experience in their respective industry. Therefore, we made it a core tenet of our philosophy not to recruit and select members based on their perceived “professionalism”, but rather to recruit and select members based on their sociability, well-roundedness, work ethic, and passion for business—all markers for a future successful, professional business leader.

As the first president, I spearheaded the recruitment process for the first two classes. When we first started, I had to find and convince 20 of our now members that creating the first business fraternity at UIUC in over 50 years was a good idea, and was even possible.Along with our first exec, I was hands-on in marketing, recruitment, new member training, handling the finances, liability prevention, and overall business strategy.

During my year as treasurer, I oversaw the operations, financial liability policies, and funds of the Alpha Tau Omega Gamma Zeta Corporation. I learned hands-on in debt collection, budgeting, insurance, financial liability policies, writing contracts, and business strategy. During my time in this role, the organization saw $850,000 in total cash flow.

Tax Internship at the Andersen Chicago office. My internship focused on private client services and estate planning; however, I learned in great detail about general business tax liabilities and alternative investment funds. During the internship, I learned a wide array of technical and soft skills. One of the things I love about tax is that it allows a consultant or preparer to understand a business inside and out. I learned firsthand how to understand businesses, their cash flows, liabilities, and how to summarize that info into a year-end conclusion—leaving the consultant to have an incredible background into that company.

I worked as the supervisor for the upper-level VIP suites at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. I trained and managed a team of 13 people. We focused on providing top-notch customer service and security for the highest-paying customers at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater.

Supervised and lead a team of 20 people, ages ranged 16 to 70 years old, from a plethora of backgrounds. Oversee the upper house, which services over 7,000 people a show—trained in management, crisis situations, payroll, and human resources.
