Develop working relationships with both customers and colleagues as I was at the front door allocated in the reception. During my time at the job, I was taught a great deal about time management and how to learn to keep up with the pace when peak times arrive. Furthermore, I learnt how to adapt to doing night shift and day shifts with the cover needed if there was any call in sick from other employees helping me plan out an efficient routine around a workplace.

This job was commission based, leading me into learning about working self-employed and handling taxes etc. I worked all around Aberdeen doing residential marketing and customer service. In the first week after being taught the pitch at the current time I achieved 3 solo sales in 1 day, this helped me gain face-to-face confidence with strangers without making a conversation go still.

Whilst working as a crew member in McDonald's I was responsible for the quality of food andhygiene of the kitchen. I achieved employee of the month within my first four months of beingemployed there. I usually worked on my own cooking batch however, I was a strong motivator tomy other co-workers and worked well with others. In my last year working there I took upnight-shift and adapted well to the change in timetable. I enjoyed my flexible hours whilst workingthere also. I branched into many different positions whilst working there, mainly I worked on batchcooking however I also worked the tills, line cooking, cleaning, etc. I made sure I worked andreceived experience in every role a crew member is to perform.
