Provide professional administrative support to ensure the program operates efficiently and effectively•Assist in coordinating staff conferences for the purpose of overall program planning•Assist to coordinate the program goals and objectives with the 477 Director and other related Tribal departments•Provide input on monthly reports presented to the Executive Committee for informal or formal oral evaluations of the program•Assess program needs as well as develop goals and outcomes that meet the needs of the target population•Assists 477 Program Administration with day to day coordination and oversight of all 477 programs making sure they comply with all Federal and State Regulations•Assists 477 Program staff with planning/coordinating for internal/external meetings, training opportunities and related events that meet the objectives of the 477 Plan•Assist leadership in developing new programs and new project management activities as needed•Coordinate and assist with regular meetings for 477 program staff to identify areas that need attention in order to meet the needs of tribal members•Ability to maintain effective work relationships with supervisory personnel, representatives from all levels of government and general public•Assist 477 Director in training 477 staff for program compliance, coordination of services and all program requirements•Assist with coordinating and developing presentation information and materials for educating AST Tribal Members and Employees

The 477 Programs Case Manager will be counseling clients, conducting interviews with clients applying for AST 477 Program Services, as well as will assist with general office duties. The 477 Programs Case Manager may perform program intake, delivery and client interventions. They may also perform work to include, but are not limited to, determination of program eligibility; and resource and referral for services for clients to other departments to assist with employment, education and training activities.

Tax Administrator is responsible for all aspects of operations and services of the Tax Commission. Develops and administers the Tribal tax collection system. Researches and examines federal, state, and local agency records to identity taxable sources and ascertain appropriate amounts of collectible taxes. Phones visits, inspects, and monitors individual and taxable business operations and activities. Gathers data and other information related to maximum tax collections and compliance with Tribal laws and ordinances. Investigates delinquent tax cases, Examines business, personal or public records, and documents to establish facts and authenticity. Monitors sources of tax revenue, review records submitted, and ensures that all reports and remittances are properly completed in a timely manner. Administers the daily business of the Tax Commission in accordance with tribal tax laws.

Develop and implement a plan for community education engagementResponsible for the direct day-to-day administration of the Workforce education program.Ensuring the program is accounted for in a manner consistent with federal rules and regulations, Tribal policy and procedures, program policy and procedures.Coordinates with and accepts referrals from AST education department to provide services to Absentee Shawnee tribal members.Develops individual education goals and plans for Workforce participantsProvides educational and cultural presentations designed to promote healthy adult decision makingMonitor/ Assist with Workforce participant's progress and goals.Ensures that program goals and objectives are met.Ensures that all reports required and requested by the AST are filed in a timely mannerMonitors program budget balances to ensure budget compliance.Schedule and strengthen key relationships needed for the renewal of programs. Communicate regularly and effectively with representatives of area technology centers.Alert Executive Committee to potential problems and offer pro-actively viable solutionsPerforms other duties as assigned by the Representative

Prepare enrichment lessons and activities for the participating youth, assist youth with their homework, leading lesson activities (especially with regard to technology).Supervise snack and outdoor play session. Supervise activity leaders, assisting with behavior management.Maintain accurate records on program participants.Recruits, trains and manages part-time staff, including their formal evaluation and assessing their needs for ongoing professional development.Provide challenging academic enrichment that extends school day learning in a meaningful, fun context.Establish and enforce published discipline policy. Inform all students of the policy.Reinforce school day learning through effective homework and tutoring service.Provide opportunities for youth development (socialization, maturation) through a wide range of activities in arts, technology, athletics and more.Assist to maintain daily communication with school officials and parents. Improve communication among teachers, parents and after school staff to improve student motivation and remove barrier to learning.Serve as an example of and resource for excellent after school programming.Provide a cost efficient, replicable model for other after school programs created by the Tribe.Assist to develop and maintain a working relationship with school principals, teaching staff, board of education members and other decision making bodies as is appropriate.Assist to coordinate the program with other Tribal departments, managing participation in the after school program.Develop and implement methods for family involvement/engagement.Assist with development and implementation of the After School program budget.Determine ongoing needs/interests of students, parents and school staff and review and revise programs to meet emerging needs/interests.Provide monthly reports to the Governor giving informal or formal oral evaluations of the program.
