I have 2.5 years of experience in the Games Industry working in technical animation. Working with both bipedal/humanoid characters and creatures I have created AAA standard animation rigs, collaborating with animators to ensure they are fully capable of creating high quality animations without being held back by the tools they work with. I have led efforts to provide clear documentation of pipelines, workflows, and tools used to ensure information is readily available. Recently I have begun working on scripting work with Python and MEL in Maya to develop tools to optimise and support my workflows, beginning work on a self authored tool box of scripts for use when rigging characters to speed up the process with automation of time consuming tasks such as creating FK/IK Hybrid systems, squash and stretch which works when imported into Unity, and creating group driven keys for major posing.
