Having studied chemical engineering and working in polymer modified bitumen production plant my knowledge of polymer, bitumen and emulsion chemistry has grow. I have also completed the graduate program at Fulton Hogan, which has meant I have been exposed to all sides of the business, including contracting, project management, design and finance. This has meant I have clear knowledge of how a multifaceted business runs and can easily adapt to the task at hand.My experience in manufacturing control and improvement has given me an understanding of lean manufacturing and how to manage people and plant to achieve targeted output. The niche nature of both polymers and bitumen chemistry has meant I have had to develop a deep understand of the two through self guided research, which has lead to a number of new products and improvements. Going forward I am looking at continuing to challenge myself and to develop more as a Chemical Engineer.
