At Teddington Hockey Club I am the head coach of the the under 16 Boys performance team. I also oversee the delivery of Sunday sessions for the Under 12 boys, performance and development teams as well as the Under 14 Boy's teams. I ensure they receive varied and challenging practices, that cater to a wide range of abilities and ages.I also oversee the delivery of half term and summer hockey camps. This involves running fun and engaging sessions to work on more technical aspects of the game. This can be for children ranging from six to seventeen so I must plan my sessions accordingly, to incorporate all ages.

At Essex Boys and Girls Club I began as a participant in their NCS programme. I then went back the year after to volunteer as a Junior Leader. At aged seventeen I was tasked with the one to one care for a severely autistic participant, whom I ensured enjoyed their experience in a safe and managed way.I was also offered a chance to travel to Norther Ireland, to work with youth clubs from both NI and the Republic of Ireland. Within this trip I worked with multiple charities and youth clubs to bridge the gaps between the youths of these countries.Due to my performance as a volunteer, I was given a paid role the following year as a Cohort Leader. As a leader I was in sole charge of twelve, fifteen to seventeen year old, participants and tasked with building group cohesion and unity, through team building excercises and community projects. Within my group I had a participant with Aspergers who required personal care and attention outside of the group's main needs. This I provided whilst also ensuring the rest of the group enjoyed and learnt from their time in the programme.
