I supervised the sales floor, handled unloading stock, and during the final months when GreenEarth was going out I business I helped manage the location when there was no official manager employed.

For the one year position, I was responsible for recruitment and coordination of volunteers from Fanshawe College to provide scientific outreach to schools and communities to enrich their scientific studies. Dealt primarily with public schools, where I would get in contact with an educator and arrange for a volunteer or myself to travel out and give the kids a hands-on learning experience with portable workshops. Had constant email access, communicated professionally with stakeholders, dealt with the site budgeting, recruited & trained new volunteers, maintained the workshops, and created new workshops.

2 Co-Op periods. From Oct 2015 - Dec 2015, Invited back for June 2016 - September 2016. Employed time management skills in an extremely fast paced environment, where routine tests needed to be completed on schedule. Would periodically take samples for testing in various locations around the facility to determine the current food grade. Additionally, I monitored the finished product after processing to ensure it met standards and then labelled them accordingly. This required keen observational skills where new procedures needed to be swapped out within seconds to maintain accuracy. Lead the training of all new employees, attributing me the accolade of the fastest and most effective training ever given at that location.

A valued employee who worked with customers throughout the Christmas seasons of 2014 and 2015. I set the highest sales record company-wide and was subsequently put on a sales-boosting team. I also came up with a quicker method of itemizing incoming stock and travelled around southwestern Ontario implementing it in other store locations.

Responsible for the safety and entertainment of up to 30 children, both on site and on field trips. Pre-determine daily activities and record events on a daily basis. Open and close facilities at the beginning and end of the day. Was complimented on my abilities by both my coordinator and the district coordinator personally on several occasions for my above average performance in one of the most difficult sites in the city. As well as my ability to resolve issues while on field trips with a cool and clear head for both my own and other camp counsellor's campers.
