I work, in a part time consulting role, in the Thoracic Surgery Cancer Biology Lab at the University of Michigan, under Dr. Laura Kresty, where I have excelled at bioinformatics analysis and multi-omics data integration. I have developed numerous methodologies, protocols, and ethical frameworks for proper bioinformatics analysis and I have expertise in most of the public and commercially available omics platforms offered to researchers. I have extensive writing, data visualization, and project management skills and I strive to incorporate ethical principles and practices in all of my professional endeavors. Our lab studies thoracic cancers with an emphasis on Esophageal Adenocarcinoma and natural chemopreventive compounds. • I work with many types of omics data including genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and microbiomics data to investigate mechanisms and pathways which are disrupted in cancer progression.• I also utilize many different Bioinformatics programs including Metacore, IPA, CLC genomics workbench, DAVID, Paintomics, Metabolanalyst, Metalync, R, PICRUSt, HUMAnn2, and Excel. • My work focus is on multi-omics data integration, bioinformatics, and ethical research practices.
