Was part of a team for 8 months that opened a new office in St. Louis. On this team, there were four developers including myself and one manager. I was heavily involved in the interview process to help hire 15+ software developers.Assisted in forming technical and team foundations for the team and took it upon myself with the help of a couple of other developers to create a scoring rubric for our interview process. I trained and worked with many of the new developers to get them acclimated to our culture and processes.During this time I also worked on systems that are now in production. One of which kept an audit history of important changes in our loan origination software to help with troubleshooting.We were agile as the team started in the Columbia office and by the time we moved to St. Louis we had five developers, a QA, and our manager. We moved into a temporary office in St. Louis for about a month before the main office was finished. I helped facilitate communications with our Columbia office and with some of the architects there.

Worked on a team to create web applications to help make the home loan buying process more efficient.Helped develop an online portal for borrowers to upload documents, eSign, see their loan team, and complete tasks to move them further along with their home loan process.The website was written in Javascript with a home rolled framework. This was rewritten to be mobile friendly in Angular.js, and new components are written in Angular 5+.Helped implement a new login system for this application using Okta written in C#/.Net to manage user actions and connect with the Okta API and Angular on the front end. Using JWTs for authorization with our APIs to provide borrower’s data securely.Implemented an SSO integration with a loan servicer, Mr. Cooper, using Okta Org2Org (SAML) to provide borrowers an easy way to pay for their home loans.Worked on a C#/.Net MVC application to collect information from borrowers to get them prequalified for a home loan online and sync data into our back-end systems to help the process more efficiently.Used tools such as TFS for version control and build and release processes, IIS, Perforce, Pivotal Tracker, Visual Studio, and Jenkins.

Develop code to help make processes easier for our manager. One system written in Nightmare.js alerts (via text/call using Twilio) the owners and manager if an employee did not clock in on time in the morning. Another Nightmare.js system would add tasks for the manager when a member has floated a certain number of times which previously was a manual process.Created an application written in Node.js that sends feedback emails to customers and employees when a waiver (SmartWaiver) is filled out and syncs specific waiver data to MailChimp. Implement processes around the shop to increase efficiency and to help provide a consistent experience.Worked with a general contractor to ensure attention to detail and that plans were followed accordingly. Made sure the space created was sensory neutral (no light/sound).
