Connor M. Moriarty is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. He earned a dual master’s degree from Arcadia University in International Peace and Conflict Resolution and Counseling Psychology with a focus on Trauma and Recovery. Connor is a trained rape crisis counselor and also a member of the Keystone Crisis Intervention Team, which provides emergency psychological support to communities, post-disaster.Connor is passionate about helping his clients recover and heal from trauma. His training grounds his work in validated strategies. Connor is also creative, continuously developing his capacity for meeting client needs with innovative strategies. Currently, he is working towards earning certification in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), an empirically validated intervention that focuses on using the body to empower and support healing in clients suffering with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD). Connor is also developing strategies for integrating the restorative powers of the great outdoors with the healing potential of counseling. Clients find Connor’s patient optimism, responsive listening, and intuitive practicality critical to their healing and development.
