I set up and managed the social media channels for Caffe Monza Greenock running both Instagram and Facebook for the organisation. I was also researching other potential places like creating sample blogs and using Platforms like Tik Tok or Twitter as an Alternative. I also networked with various influencers and helped to coordinate the Cafe's opening. I used and adapted both video editing skills and Canva skills to create engaging posts and also analysed this content to record what works and what needs improvement. I also strategized the cafe and created a digital marketing plan showing who we would be aiming at specifically and how to best grab their attention. I also worked with Google ads to use and track PPC as a way to possibly pay for advertisements and went through training with the google digital garage as a way to fully understand the platform and how it could work for us. Finally, I would research other companies and their marketing strategies to see how we could be unique but still grab the attention of our audience. We used sites like Hootsuite to find our audience and also to identify marketing trends for the hospitality sector. From this, we recorded and edited out an opening video to show the cafe and demonstrate the cafe and use eyecatching shots for the audience and show off our food so people would want to try for themselves.

With Clyde Auto Sales I am the social media and marketing assistant with my main goal to achieve an increase their presence for the company on social media and to think of new innovative ideas to make sure the company is in the spotlight.My main focus is to both grow and learn social media marketing skills gaining a better understanding of what content works for the audience while also analysing the audience themselves and marketing effectively through them.I am utilising a multitude of different marketing skills to achieve this both creative and business skills in order to achieve the best possible marketing strategy. I have used skills like graphic design for posts using canva to aid me and have been using both film and photography skills to showcase the cars and upload them for the public to see. In addition, I used media tools like Facebook and Instagram insights to record the data every week and note what has worked and what hasn't then capitalise on that information. From these skills I can apply this with the company and making sure we don't need to spend too much on advertisement to sell.
