● Worked as part of a team to design and build large scale immersive art installations on a contract basis● Envision, create, and facilitate the member and volunteer experience at the lab. This includes creating and teaching classes, planning events, and nurturing an inclusive environment that members can integrate themselves into● Manage a team of member volunteers by coordinating with them to teach safety classes, attend outreach events, and perform various maintenance and administrative tasks around the lab● Schedule and conduct weekly open house tours and New Member Orientations to prospective members● Plan and facilitate community outreach events to assist in marketing and member acquisition

• Designed and tested new breast milk collection system, worked with manufacturers in China to evaluate and qualify injection molding tools for both prototype and production parts• Applied proper documentation and traceability practices when writing test reports and protocols in accordance with strict FDA guidelines• Designed life cycle test protocol, performed tests, and wrote corresponding test reports to be included in Freemie’s 510K submission to the FDA• Designed and machined fluid heat exchanger from fluid flow and thermal heat transfer calculations, confirmed calculations with CFD analysis • Designed, built, and programed large scale electronic motor suction test station• Compiled failure mode analysis (FMEA) by identifying failure modes of the breast pump system• Investigated and documented failures in returned pump systems

Led a team of four others to advance transportation alternatives by designing, fabricating, and racing a human powered vehicle at the American Society of Mechanical Engineer's Human Powered Vehicle Challenge in the spring of 2018.Highlights of the project include:-Creation of formal project proposal, outlining user needs, design constraints, and preliminary design ideas-Full vehicle frame design from scratch-Full stress and aerodynamic analysis performed on vehicle frame and fairing via solidworks-Learned the importance of making a plan and hitting deadlines, as well as how to manage a small team in very time-crunched situations

1. Designed, modeled in Solidworks, and tested both a GoPro helmet mount and a sliding vent system for two of Giro's current helmets. 2. Tested aerodynamic properties of different helmets in Giro's wind tunnel and generated weekly reports of these results.3. Evaluated and wrote a report on instrumentation, measurement, and testing procedure errors in Giro’s wind tunnel system.
