I learned how to take repeated rejections without becoming discouraged, think on my feet no matter how the prospective customer reacted during our conversation, and learn from my mistakes by documenting each call.

Lifeguarding focused on the safety of residents. This role always taught me the importance of staying alert to safety risks, and the ability to act and react in less-than-ideal situations. These lessons learned I have applied to each subsequent role and will continue to apply throughout my career.
