Applied the skills and education learned from the prior year to continue my ranch management education. Most importantly learned how to take what the owner requested with minimal guidance to achieve the desired results. Applied a trial-and-error methodology to obtain a solution even if I did not know the best way to accomplish it.

Established a long-term goal to own a residential ranch but recognized the lack of knowledge in maintaining a ranch. Sought out hands-on education to gain proficiency in operating ranch equipment and tools to achieve specified results. Inclusive of: acetylene torch, tractors, skid steers, and associated attachments inclusive of tree shear, forks, bucket, and grappler. Additional duties included tending to livestock and wildlife. The majority of work was performed independently with limited supervision with a strong emphasis on results.

Performed telecommunication sales for a payroll and benefits company that services small and medium-sized businesses throughout Texas. I learned how to take repeated rejections without becoming discouraged, think on my feet no matter how the prospective customer reacted during our conversation, and learn from my mistakes by documenting each call.

Lifeguarding focused on the safety of residents. This role always taught me the importance of staying alert to safety risks, and the ability to act and react in less-than-ideal situations. These lessons learned I have applied to each subsequent role and will continue to apply throughout my career.
