After attending the University of Washington in Seattle, I have gathered and compiled upon myself a number of skills: German language skills including speaking, reading and writing in German; cultural and historical knowledge of Germanic peoples and nations; skills in mathematics ranging from the basics to multivariable calculus, matrices, and linear analysis; basic engineering knowledge; and a variety of other skills and knowledge obtained during my time at University, studying various fields of interest during my college career. My time in as an undergraduate student concluded with studying abroad in Vienna, Austria, where I was able to immerse myself in another culture and was able to expand my world view. Now, I am working to obtain my teaching credential in Special Education for students with moderate/severe disabilities. During the school year of 2020-2021, I worked as a long term substitute teacher in a high school classroom for students with moderate/severe disabilities. The time spent in the classroom with the students changed my entire perspective and goals for my life. I applied to and was accepted into CSU Stanislaus' teaching credential program, which I am currently attending. I have found an opportunity for a career that I find truly fulfilling and enjoyable, and where I feel that I can truly make a difference. Currently, I am working towards receiving my credential, and finding employment at a school where I be a positive force for my future students.
