Hello, I'm Connor McLaughlin, and I am a sophomore at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. Through business school, I am driven to build a marketing career that builds on my communication, organization, and social strengths. My background through sports, fraternity, work, and college has once again strengthened my communication, teamwork, and public relations skills.In my first year at Miami, through the Farmer School of Business core classes, I participated in the Client Challenge targeting the company NextGen Fuel. Within this assignment, I was assigned to collaborate with my group members to create and present an ESG approach to better the company's future. Within the semester, I sharpened my skills as a presenter, team collaborator, and overall critical thinker.Looking into the future, I plan to broaden my knowledge as a marketing student. I will accomplish this by studying abroad for a semester in Barcelona and joining a respected business fraternity here in Miami. These experiences will expand my horizons and help me become more well-rounded and open as an overall business student.I am actively looking for a marketing internship here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
