To do this, I fabricated thin polymeric shells and wrote computer scripts to extract the curvature of fracture paths from 3D scans.

PI: Prof. Hugh HerrStudied the manner in which skin deforms when a joint bends with the purpose of improving socket liners for prosthetic limbs.I developed digital image correlation software to analyze skin strain during joint bending, and used strain field data to design and fabricate molds for prosthetic socket liners that stretch with an amputee's underlying skin.

PI: Prof. Mark StoykovichOptimized the fabrication of stretchable and flexible nanowire networks. Developed process to transfer the networks from silicon wafers to a stretchable substrate.
