I began working with The Southwark Playhouse in April, normally my duties include walking the customer journey prior to the performance to ensure the house is ready for the audience to enter to auditorium. Opening and closing of the house, collecting tickets prior the performance.Communicating with the audience members with regard to the show specifics and escorting the public to their seats ensuring their personal needs are met.

As a claims handler I am responsible for the handling of claims, liaising with insurance companies and solicitors whilst delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.My role also requires investigating liability issues and negotiating liability settlements of claims in the best interest of the company whilst taking into account the economic costs involved.Due to the high value of claims I manage with on a daily basis I have to ensure that I accurate claims records are kept for auditing purposes and efficient management of my workload through effective diary management.

On a daily basis my duties included daily reconciliation and banking of all income from the store including cash, cheque, voucher and credit card transactions.Responsible for physical security of floats and takings within all of the cash office safes across the site and to also monitor coinage/change deliveries to ensure sufficient stock is always held for current needs of the business.Also to ensure accurate record keeping for all cash in/out of the cash office and safes across the building.

I first began working with Spare Tyre whilst in education, and I was asked to return on a freelance basis where my responsibilities involved managing their sister website ‘Connected Culture’ whilst also managing their social media pages.I also assisted with events and general administration and marketing activities including writing articles, finding relevant copy for the websites, handling large mail outs, distributing post and database entries.
