Transmission System Standards- January 2021- May 2021Wrote portions of a Standard Practice Statement for transmission class transformer protection with specific emphasis on autotransformers. Also attended the Georgia Tech Protective Relaying Conference.Transmission Planning- Jun 2020- August 2020Conducting studies on the Duke transmission grid with intent to plan new projects up to 10 years in advance. Specific emphasis on Coal plant retirement to align with the vision to be carbon net zero by 2050. Additionally, worked on the Transmission Additions Plan to present new projects to other engineering groups. Protection and Controls Engineering- August 2019- December 2019Designed wiring schematics for protection and control schemes including a 230kV line switch, multiple 115kV feeder breakers, and a 115kV voltage regulator. Modified feeder breaker settings for 115kV and 230kV feeders to account for differing protection and control settings and load levels.

Working on portable industrial electric generators, air compressors, and light towers. Work ranged from designing new electric systems, to rapid prototyping for pre-production units, and testing for production units. Notable work includes diagnosing issues in production G400kVA generators and implementing a solution to allow production to continue as well designing a lighting system for a large package air compressor.
